No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend’s or of thine own were. Any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.
By the way, Hemingway’s For Whom The Bell Tolls is one of my favorite novels.
Not much to say, but I’ve been meditating a lot lately on the “thou art that” unity of Atman and Brahman. It has become something of a mantra: I’ll see something and think to myself “I am that”.

Well, I’m going to be writing a lot of posts about things like Atman and Brahman in the next couple of days, so keep checking back. I feel like I’m finally in a place where things are ocming together and making sense to me for the first time since leaving Mormonism.
